Auckland is a great city to visit during the whole year, however weatherise probably the best months are October to March/April. We have a subtropical climate which normally provides very comfortable temperatures which tend to oscillate around 10 degrees celsius (50 degrees farenheit) between the daily minimum and maximum, with an average minimum of 8 degrees celsius (46 degrees farenheit) in the winter and 16 degrees celsius (60 degrees farenheit) in the summer. Our average yearly rainfall is 1200 millimetres (47 inches).
